Our Commitments

Sustainablitiy

At Nomad Home, sustainability is embedded in our ethos. We prioritize enduring collaborations with artisans in declining industries, breathe new life into traditional crafts, and champion eco-friendly practices, ensuring a harmonious blend of craftsmanship, innovation, and environmental responsibility.

Empowering Afghan Women

Nomad Home is committed to empowering Afghan women by providing employment, skill training, and opportunities, breaking gender norms and fostering economic independence in challenging circumstances.

Empowering Afghan Artisans

Nomad Home is dedicated to empowering Afghan artisans by fostering inclusive skill development, preserving traditional crafts, and sustaining industries facing decline, ensuring a resilient legacy of craftsmanship.

Preserving Heritage

Nomad Home is devoted to preserving heritage by sustaining declining industries, collaborating with master artisans, and revitalizing traditional crafts for a lasting cultural legacy.

Nomad Home, Nomad Rugs, began its journey in the heart of Kabul in 1998, specializing in handwoven rugs and vintage collections. Over the years, Nomad has collaborated with various artisans, including glass blowers, shearling makers, and embroiderers, showcasing an annual sustainable collection. With a strong focus on supporting Afghan women and training artisans, Nomad has left its mark on prestigious projects like the Arg, the Presidential Palace of Afghanistan. Today, we proudly present our collections globally, with a significant presence in Europe and the USA. Explore our legacy of craftsmanship and sustainability.
